Leesburg Regional Auxiliary President Message

The purpose of our Auxiliary is to promote and advance the welfare of Leesburg Regional Medical Center, part of the Central Florida Health Alliance.

We strive to bring comfort and hope to all who are in distress of mind and body.  We use the privilege given us to help the ill, the aged and the young with generosity and with gentleness.

We have over 240 volunteers who serve in many departments, including the Lobby desks, Emergency Department, waiting rooms, outside transport, patient care areas and office areas. We also operate our gift shop and thrift shop.
Our monies are raised through the two shops and our many fundraisers. This past year, we were able to donate $50,000 to the hospital. This money went toward the purchase of specialized nursery beds, fetal monitors, patient loungers and recliners, and a new transport shuttle. We also awarded several scholarships to students going into the healthcare field.

Volunteers are angels who give from the heart! I hope that you would like to share a little of your time and your good heart by  becoming a member of our Auxiliary. We can be reached at 323-5060, in our Auxiliary office. I’m looking forward to seeing you there.

Marie Butler, President
Leesburg Regional Medical Center Auxiliary
