About the Auxiliary

Volunteering with a Purpose

Our purpose is to promote and advance the welfare of Central Florida Health Alliance. We do this through service to the hospitals, patients and visitors as well as fundraising activities that have been approved by the hospitals’ board of directors.

In the summer months, Central Florida Health Alliance sponsors a Teenage Volunteer (TAV) Program for students interested in the medical field or those wishing to earn service hours for their schools. This is a great opportunity to learn about hospital careers while performing a valuable service. Applications for the TAV program are available at the Lobby desks of both hospitals in April each year, with the program starting in early June. You may also call (353) 323-5060 for Leesburg Regional Medical Center or (352) 751-8622 for The Villages Regional Hospital.
