Urgent Care
When minor injuries or illnesses do not require hospital care, our convenient Urgent Care Centers are here for you – without the long wait times typical of an emergency room. Our Urgent Care Centers offer excellent customer service and a knowledgeable staff of physicians, nurses and technicians to ensure a high caliber of care.
The Villages Regional Hospital Urgent Care and Leesburg Regional Urgent Care provide quality medical care, a more convenient option than waiting for an appointment, and a lower cost alternative to hospital care. Our facilities are designed to handle many of the medical problems that can develop unexpectedly and demand immediate attention. Our goal is for non-emergent patients to be seen, treated and released as quickly as possible.

The Villages Regional Hospital Urgent Care is staffed by licensed nurse practitioners, LPN’s and is overseen by the Medical Director. It is completely golf cart accessible with plenty of parking. Designed to alleviate congestion in the Hospital’s ER, The Villages Regional Hospital Urgent Care can provide blood work, STD screenings, tests for strep throat, flu swabs, suturing of simple lacerations, temporary splinting and more. If an x-ray is needed, patients will be sent across the street to the Hospital’s outpatient radiology department and a provider will call the patient to review their results.
The Villages Regional Hospital Urgent Care opened on October 1st, 2012 and has applied for Joint Commission Certification to ensure that patients are getting high quality care that meets accepted standards. When seen at the Urgent Care facility, your medical records will be available electronically not only at The Villages Regional Hospital, but also at Leesburg Regional Medical Center as well.
