Cardiac Rehab is our customized program of exercise and education. Your physician may recommend cardiac rehab to help you return to better health after a heart attack, open heart surgery, or if you have other heart conditions. The program is focused on reducing risk of future heart problems through exercise and risk factor modification. Patients will improve their cardiovascular status, learn about their cardiovascular risk factors and increase their overall strength and stamina.
If you've never exercised before, don't worry! Our team of Cardiac Rehabilitation professionals will make sure that the program moves at a pace you are comfortable with. They will evaluate and take into consideration your physical abilities, medical limitations, and other conditions you may have.
Cardiac Rehabilitation is helpful to patients with congestive heart failure, angina pectoris, recent heart attack, coronary artery bypass surgery, valve surgery, and pacemaker implants. It is also beneficial for those who have chronic heart failure, peripheral arterial disease, or other forms of cardiovascular disease.
