Outpatient Therapies
A leader in rehabilitation for nearly 50 years, Leesburg Regional Medical Center’s Outpatient Therapy team provides interdisciplinary treatment and specialty programs in physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our highly-trained, experienced and caring professionals work as a team to ensure patients achieve their goals. What makes our program unique? Therapists treat patients one at a time and our facility features a 10,000 square foot fully-equipped gym that includes an indoor heated pool. Our therapists customize their patients’ programs to help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and achieve one’s optimum level of independence and wellness.
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists are qualified experts in human movement and strive to improve patients’ mobility and function. We use a combination of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to strive for complete rehabilitation. Each plan of care is tailored to the individual patients’ needs, optimizing the highest level of functional return and independence.
Occupational Therapists
Occupational therapists work with patients to improve daily activities including self-care, and home/community management activities. They facilitate activities with the goal to maximize function and restore independence.
Speech/Language Pathologists
Our speech therapists work with patients and their families to maximize speech, voice, communication and swallowing skills. Therapists also help patients restore their reading, writing, memory and problem solving skills.
