Annual Scott Strong Memorial Golf Classic

The Foundation’s annual Go for the Green Golf Classic will be held among the beautiful rolling hills of the Mission Inn Resort & Club on November 10, 2010. With the tragic loss of longtime Foundation Board member Scott Strong, an avid golfer, the Foundation has renamed the tournament in his memory; and will ensure his legacy. The event guarantees an exciting platform for corporate leaders to show their support for quality healthcare in Lake, Sumter, and Marion counties at Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Hospital. Business professionals and community leaders will join together to share an unforgettable day of networking, relaxation, and friendly competition, while benefiting a heartfelt cause.

About the Cause & Your Partnership

As a result of past Golf Classic fundraising and community support, over $2.3 million has been raised to ensure the continuity of the many programs and services offered at our hospitals. Our Golf Classic goal this year is to net $100,000 to be used towards the construction of our planned comprehensive cancer center. Please give serious consideration to your sponsorship level, and if it’s possible, challenge yourself to increase it a level. For premier placement, please return the registration form by September 1. All advertisements must be received by October 2.
