The Villages Regional Hospital: Tree of Life and Love

Perpetual Gift Opportunity

Tree of Life and Love donation

Dr. Catherine Keller of Lake Medical Imaging donates $6,000 for the new addition to the Tree of Life and Love and The Villages Regional Hospital. She is flanked by Foundation CEO Ted Williams and Gerry Tucker, who has spearheaded the Tree of Life and Love project.

The Villages Auxiliary’s “Tree of Life and Love” campaign, launched in 2006, was designed to solicit the community’s help in contributing financial support towards the purchasing of hospital medical equipment, instruments, technology, and furnishings.

In June of 2007, the Auxiliary was able to equip two new emergency rooms, purchase a mobile X-Ray unit, warmer infant bed and drawers, Lifepak defibulator, two microscopes and an I.V. preparation hood with bench, electrical and exhaust.

The Auxiliary is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. Over 700 men and women volunteer countless hours to support the comfort and quality of care for patients, visitors, and families and help raise funds to support The Villages Regional Hospital.

Donors who gift financial support to this campaign will have their name permanently recognized on the Tree of Life & Love located in the hospital’s main lobby. The Tree of Life & Love Committee is grateful to the businesses, organizations, residents of the Tri-County area who have contributed. This project is an excellent way to honor the efforts of an organization, an individual, or memorialize a loved one for years to come. Your support will make a difference in the lives of so many that will travel through the doors of our hospital.

The Tree of Life & Love perpetual gift opportunity will continue to accept and add names to the wall for years to come.
