Based on the completeness, timeliness and quality of the data submitted, Central Florida Health Alliance is a recipient of the 2012 Jean Byers Award for Excellence in Cancer Registration for the 2010 data.

In 2013, the American College of Radiology granted Leesburg Regional their Gold Seal of Accreditation for MRI image quality and patient safety.

In 2012, the Leesburg Regional Acute Rehabilitation Hospital received three-year accreditation for its inpatient adult rehab program as well as stroke specialty program.

Commission on CancerIn 2012, the Cancer Programs at Central Florida Health Alliance received the Three-Year Approval with Commendation by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, which demonstrates the comprehensive scope of our cancer programs.

In 2011, Central Florida Health Alliance was recognized as #17 on the AARP’s list for the Best Employers for Workers Over 50. This annual recognition program acknowledges organizations whose policies best address an aging workforce.

In 2011, Leesburg Regional Medical Center was announced a Silver winner of the annual ComPsych® Corp Health at Work awards, which honors organizations who best promote employee health and wellness.

In 2011, the Central Florida Health Alliance Marketing & Public Relations team received a Bronze Aster Award in the category of “Service Line: Cardiac/Vascular” in the group “Hospital: 300 – 499 beds.”

In 2011, FMQAI – the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Florida – presented The Villages Regional Hospital with a Patient Safety Award in recognition of the hospital’s unwavering commitment to quality improvement in patient safety.

In 2008, Leesburg Regional Medical Center was named one of the 10 national winners of the 2008 Hospital of the Year Award by the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers (AAHP) for the third consecutive year. The award recognizes America’s most customer-friendly hospitals. 

In 2008, The Villages Regional Hospital was recognized with top honors by the Tennessee Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) for the interior design work throughout the facility.

In 2007, The Villages Regional Hospital was one of only 49 hospitals in the country to receive the Premier/CareScience Select Practice National Quality Award, a designation that identifies the hospital among the top 1% of hospitals for quality and efficiency.

In 2007, Central Florida Health Alliance was among 10 recipients nationwide of the first-ever MetLife Foundation/Civic Ventures BreakThrough Award, designed to spotlight organizations providing meaningful public interest jobs for people over 50.

In 2007, The Villages Regional Hospital was named in the Solucient 100 Top Hospitals® National Benchmarks for Success study, which identifies the top hospitals based on overall performance in the key areas of outcomes, service line efficiency, hospital efficiency, financial performance, and growing community service.
